Christchurch Meadows

Great place in Reading for early morning walks, running, rollerskating, bike riding etc There are usually one or two mobile cafes in the park (either by the foot bridge, or a barge cafe on the river) and an icecream van in the summer months during the holidays.

This place has been an absolute life saver during lockdown. Having this on our doorstep for our daily walk was absolutely incredible. My favourite part is the geese who have little babies in the spring and will actually feed out of your hand if you train them a bit. Gorgeous views, loads of nature, what a gem in the middle of a town.

Christchurch meadows is great place for kids to enjoy specially during the summer as there is a play area out there as well as paddling pool to cool down. It is the best picnic spot as there is plenty of space.
