The barstaff are superb in there

I basically grew up here in my late teens - I joined aged about 14/15 and remained a member until I left the city for university. Great facilities and superb club members who became like a second family to me. I watched the World Cup in the club house and got lifts home from the adults I knew well. Harold Malobar coached me, and the club encouraged me to develop my tennis skills a lot, through joining the Womens teams (even though I was a youth) and recommending me for coaching at the Liverpool Tennis Academy. The club is one of the things I miss the most about Liverpool. Also has decent parking facilities (although I was too young to drive), and it's in a safe area with some basic local food/newsagents shops if the clubhouse is closed and you need a snack.
