Oxstalls Indoor Tennis Centre

I went to the club with a foreign friend, I’ve always paid in between 10-15£ for a tennis court, this time they decided to charge me 26£. I was disappointed that there was no tennis equipment at a tennis centre, no balls, no overgrips and no shock absorbers all replaced by pickleball equipment. This used to be my favorite club to go to, always had everything we needed for an exciting match of tennis, but has left me in awe how bad the experience was. We ended up using some old scuffy balls that not even the rec session group wanted. I hope the club regains its prestige.

There is plenty of room at the back of the courts, and the lighting has been upgraded. The 'curtains' at the back of the courts left gaps, and we were constantly looking for lost balls. The bar and reception areas were very pleasant. The changing rooms and showers were fine and there was plenty of parking. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Both indoor courts and outdoor clay. The playing surface is fine. Staff are friendly and there is plenty of seating and a bar. Our sons learned tennis here and we continue to play. The booking system is a bit eccentric and the lighting is sometimes not fully functional, but otherwise, highly recommended.
