The Paddle Centre

I had a great experience with the Paddle Centre. I was booked onto a "paddle and pub" excursion that had to be cancelled last-minute. To make up for this, I was offered half price kayak hire. The friendly staff went out of their way to make me feel safe going out on my own. I would highly recommend.

Staff were very welcoming, water etiquette instructions & the laminated map in the kayak were very helpful to use & it was a very short distance to lift the kayaks up & down the slipway. We were lucky with lovely weather & a quiet waterway so, it was very peaceful.

We had a really great experience at the Paddle Centre. Friendly and helpful staff, we got shoes to wear on the SUP boards, the toilets were clean and there was a hose to rinse our feet when we had finished. It could have been a bit more obvious where to enter from the road. Our trip on the river was lovely. 😊
